“Chaos. Carnage. Confusion. For many, that’s the modern Middle East. But Tom Doyle gets it. Better yet, he can really explain it. With a pastor’s heart, he clearly and concisely describes why God loves the Jews of Israel and her Muslim neighbors, and why we should, too. What’s more, Tom reveals how powerfully God is moving in the modern Middle East, and how we can join Him. Two Nations under God is a must read—fascinating, insightful, and deeply thought-provoking. Get one for yourself, and another for your pastor.”

“The only way to have a missional church is to have missional people in it. Period. In this engaging volume David Putman gives wonderful insight into not just describing what missional people look like, but how they get that way. Breaking the Discipleship Code is a great devotional aid for your own personal growth as well as a conversation starter for your group to chart a missional path.”

“We can talk and dream about missional churches. We can talk and dream about evangelism, worship and leadership in missional churches. But if we aren’t talking about discipleship; the future of missional churches are in big trouble. David invites us into this conversation in this important book.”

“David Putman authentically shares his life and experiences in Breaking the Discipleship Code. Of course we want our churches to be missional but if we don’t break the code of discipleship our churches will never have the impact God desires. If you lead the disciple-making process of a local church or simply longs to be a disciple of Jesus read Breaking the Discipleship Code to discover how to live like Jesus, love like Jesus and leave behind what Jesus left behind.”

Breaking the Discipleship Code is a timely reminder of our most important task: making disciples. It will help you rethink the way you do discipleship and accomplish the task more effectively.

“(Room of Marvels) packs enough emotional punch into its fantasy, this may be a good companion to Mitch Albom’s The Five People You Meet in Heaven.”

“Smith’s small novel is the work of a big mind . . . in the hands of a mature Christian, when apologetics shows one fine person’s struggle from the depths of despair back to firm knowledge of God’s abiding presence and love — well, it’s a marvelous thing indeed.”

ACFW reviews Lookin’ Back, Texas
Lookin’ Back, Texas is a creative recipe whose ingredients are frantic fun and human imperfection, peppered with hope and forgiveness for flavor . . . Leanna Ellis has created personable characters, sometimes complicated, sometimes simple, but uniquely brave as they face the trials the author stirs together for them. The story is imaginative and warm. Readers will undoubtedly feel welcome at the table in Lookin’ Back, Texas when they sit down to sample Ellis’ latest creation.

“T. L. Higley transported me to the magnificent island of Rhodes, a cultural mecca of the ancient world, basking in the shadow of the enormous Colossus of Helios, in this tantalising novel of political intrigue and spiritual redemption. I was drawn to Tessa’s pain, a woman with great political influence yet without freedom, sold to the highest bidder. Nikos knows Tessa’s status but is drawn to her and sees her as God does, as a woman of great worth. The Jewish plight is told through the eyes of Simeon and his family and God’s faithfulness is shown through Simeon’s devotion and Nikos’ sacrifice. Fast paced adventure, fascinating characters and insights in to the culture, politics and people of this ancient world make Shadow of Colossus a unique and unmissable read. I am delighted that the Ancient World will continue to be revealed in subsequent Seven Wonders novels by T. L. Higley.”

“I was surprised to enjoy this book so much. Knowing its title is tongue-in-cheek and its chapter titles being humorous as well, I thought it would be a light and perhaps insignificant read. I was wrong! It takes a special gift to communicate deep and important truths with humor and integrity. The more I read the more impressed I was. Yes, it is easy to read, and I did so with a perpetual smile on my face. But I also found myself going back and underlining sections and taking notes. I’ll use this in my own life and in my talks to men. Contemporary yet timeless, thoughtful yet fun, it just might be the last men’s book you ever need! Check it out.
